White Slough Wildlife Area Fieldtrip

If you are interested in adding Black Rail to your EBird list?.  They generally start calling spontaneously in spring, so with good listening conditions (low wind), we stand a decent chance of hearing at least one.  (Sorry, but don’t expect a visual!)  I have made arrangements to drive through the yellow gate so there should be less chance of vandalism.  Even so, we need to keep the number of cars to a minimum, so plan to double up before you arrive at the yellow gate.  Feel free to contact me if you have questions,  Jim Rowoth (rowoth@sbcglobal.net).
