Carnegie Night Walk

June 22 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Meet Kasey Foley at the entry gate of Carnegie SVRA located at 18600 Corral Hollow Road in Tracy for a walk on the wild side.  This walk will be on the ALAMEDA COUNTY portion of the park but it’s a beautiful walk sometimes yielding Western Screech Owls, Great Horned Owls, cool scorpions and spiders, again it’s Alameda County,

Things to keep in mind are there may be bugs so bring bug spray, sun protection, dress in layers as it may get cold later, bring snacks and water as we may be gone for 2-3 hours, and you may want to bring a walking stick as the footing may not be even and we will be climbing up rock/dirt trails. Be sure to bring a flashlight or headlamp because it will be dark on our way back.  Oh yeah, don’t forget your binoculars!  Also, remember there are rattlesnakes in this park so boots are recommended.  The only restroom facilities are at the entrance of the park and maybe at the beginning of the trail (but I’m not sure).
