Bethany Bird Walk

San Joaquin Audubon Society will be leading a bird walk not too far from Mountain House (sort of) but in Alameda County on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Bethany State Recreational Area located at 13638 Christensen Rd, Byron, CA.
This is a new area for us to bird and we’re excited to see it. In the past they had a pair of nesting Golden eagles but I can’t guarantee them this year, but who knows?
Beginning birders are welcome, we will have extra binoculars. Definitely bring sun protection (sunscreen &/or hat) and water. It will be about a 2-hour walk on mostly level trails and restrooms are at the park.
If you want to carpool, please meet us at 25 Main Street in Mountain House at 7:30 AM.
