Trip to White Slough WTP (Lodi Sweage Ponds)

We will bird for 1-2 hours (depending on the birding) walking on mostly level ground for 1 to 1 1/2 miles. Possible birds at the White Slough WTP (a.k.a Lodi Sewage Ponds) include Northern Shovler, Common Goldeneye, Bufflehead. Ruddy Duck, Greater Yellowlegs, Black-necked Stilt, American Avocet, Least Sandpiper, Spotted Sandpiper, Bonaparte’s Gull, Great Egret, Snowy Egret, Forester’s Tern. And, if we are lucky, we may see Short-billed Gull, Peregrine Falcon, American White Pelican, Western Sandpiper, Black-bellied Plover and who knows what else!
We have received permission to take up to 8 people for birding at this location. You will need to sign at the location and provide mandatory waiver form that Kasey will provide upon receiving your RSVP. RSVP is required

Meting Location:
Starbucks at 14820 Star St, Lodi to ride share. There is limited parcking at the birding location. There is no public restroom at the location, but may be nearby Flag City.
