Pinnacles National Park Condor Trip

May 11 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

We will bird around the store and campgrounds, the areas along Bear Gulch and along the Sycamore Trail (where we found a horned lizard last year).

We will specifically be looking for California Condor (last year we saw several, including six in view at one time). Other species we may encounter include Golden Eagle, Wild Turkey, Greater Roadrunner, swifts, hummers, Steller’s Jay, Violet-green Swallow, Cayon Wren, Wrentit, BG Gnatcatcher, California Thrasher, Phainopepla, and who knows what migrants we might see.
Bring lunch, as this will be an all-day trip, comfortable shoes, as we will be doing a considerable amount of walking and a bit of hiking up the High Peaks Trail, water and whatever else you need for a full day of birding.
NOTE: There is a $30 per vehicle entrance fee.
